USA University Project
The 'USA Universities: UW-Stout' project was a focused, two-man mission to Wisconsin, tasked with creating a comprehensive suite of promotional media for Kings Education's new business partner. UW-Stout, a US university specialising in highly specified degree programmes, needed compelling visuals to showcase its unique offerings. Our objective was to capture the essence of the university through a diverse range of media, highlighting its academic strengths and vibrant campus life.
Our deliverables included a variety of video and still assets: real estate imagery showcasing the campus and surrounding area, dynamic aerial footage, insightful interviews with staff and students, engaging marketing video content of classes and facilities, and captivating visuals of local areas of interest. This multifaceted approach aimed to provide a complete and compelling representation of UW-Stout, designed to attract prospective students and solidify the partnership with Kings Education.
Deliveries
The delivered video assets provided a comprehensive overview of the UW-Stout experience, complementing the accompanying still photography. These video assets formed a crucial part of a wider campaign, designed for strategic distribution across YouTube, various social media platforms, and the websites of both the partner university and Kings Education. By showcasing the campus, students, and academic offerings, these videos aimed to engage prospective students and build brand awareness.
Working in close collaboration with the UW-Stout marketing team, we were tasked with adhering to strict brand guidelines and campaign messaging. This presented a unique challenge: to align our creative vision with the established voice, visuals, and overall messaging of an established university brand. Ensuring consistency across all video deliverables, while still capturing the authentic spirit of UW-Stout, required meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of their brand identity.

Technically, this project involved a diverse range of shooting techniques. We captured real estate imagery, dynamic aerial footage, and conducted interviews with staff and students. We also produced marketing video content of classes and facilities, and captured captivating visuals of local areas of interest. This required the use of various camera systems, aerial drones, and professional audio equipment.
4. Resources
Resource management was crucial, as this was a two-man mission operating in a foreign location. We had to ensure efficient use of equipment, time, and travel resources. Careful planning and coordination were essential to maximise the impact of our limited resources.
5. Challenges
The main challenge was aligning our creative vision with the established voice, visuals, and overall messaging of an established university brand.
